 Whoever wants to handle this PR:
 Please fix the issue properly by using SPECIAL_PERMS in the Makefile,
 sgid kmem certainly should be visible to the user during installation
 and would allow this package to use user-destdir. Care should be taken
 to include all platforms correctly...
