Install x11/kdebase3 on sparc64
Set kdm=yes in /etc/rc.conf and reboot the machine
On boot kdm fails to start

Edit /usr/pkg/etc/kdm/kdmrc and replace the line

ServerArgsLocal=-nolisten tcp vt05

with

ServerArgsLocal=-nolisten tcp
