 Hi,

The problem still exists for me, I just recompiled various components.
Here's my current environment where I'm seeing the problem:

 - NetBSD 4-current (up to date as of last week) for macppc
 - glib 2.18.1
 - gtk 2.12.12
 - emacs 22.3

If I start using Emacs, it works for a bit, for instance scrolling now
no longer immediately triggers the freeze. However, trying to move
between different pull-down menus can still make it freeze:

 load averages: 1.00, 0.97, 1.15
                                                                          up
 0 days, 2:25 23:39:47
 40 processes: 1 runnable, 38 sleeping, 1 on processor
 CPU states: 99.0% user, 0.0% nice, 1.0% system, 0.0% interrupt, 0.0%
 idle
 Memory: 139M Act, 5256K Inact, 636K Wired, 23M Exec, 89M File, 109M Free
 Swap: 320M Total, 4K Used, 320M Free

 11759 disciple 64 0 15M 22M RUN 2:31 99.02% 99.02% emacs

All I did to cause that was to select "File", then I moved to
"Options", at which point Emacs froze. I also tried scrolling back and
forth vertically a few times, and after maybe five iterations, it
 froze.

I tried to attach ktrace while it was frozen, but it didn't generate
 any output at all.

 Regards,

 Dave
