Building emulators/qemu fails on Linux because of bad patches/patch-ag
Build ends like this
...
kqemu support no
Documentation yes
Unsupported CPU
*** Error code 1
http://mova.org/~cheusov/pub/pkgsrc-distbb/Linux/current/log/20080903.1421/emulators/qemu/stage_configure.html
This happens because under Linux 'uname -p' returns 'unknown' on my system and
many others I have access to.
In upstream 'uname -m' is used which, in my view, is more correct
and is allowed by SUS.
See bad change in patches/patch-ag.
Revision 1.5 vs. 1.6
date: 2006/12/07 13:50:58; author: xtraeme; state: Exp; lines: +43 -1
Make this build on DragonFlyBSD. Patches were sent by Rumko privately.
>How-To-Repeat:
>Fix:
remove uname -m ----> uname -p change from patches/patch-ag
