I upgraded my server and by mistake rebooted it with "reboot" instead of
"shutdown -r now". After coming up the console had message about failed
mailman. I had to manually run "/usr/pkg/lib/mailman/bin/mailmanctl -s start"
to get rid of the stale lock file.

Maybe the start should always use -s?
