 | | Can you make sure first that the tree is complete by running cvs up -d=
 | P?\
 | Did this 3 times before filing the bug report . but hey I will try this
 | again, tomorrow moring when I=C2=B4m in the office.
 |
 |
 | | Aftwards please remove bootstrap/work and start the process again.
 | | Depending on your environement,
 | This I do as a matter of course ... but it did not help a bit.
 |
 | | please also remove a possible incomplete prefix and pkgdb.
 | That=C5=9B why I first run the testbootstrap shell script witch I have
 | adapted to use a new directory tree on a test disk that is mounted under
 | ~ /opt/pkg....
 |
 | ~ If you are using a non-default compiler, please
 | | remember to tell bootstrap about it.
 |
 | I know that ... That=C5=9B why my on my system I run a script that gives =
 | all
 | the command line args to bootstrap. I used the same script as I did for
 | pkgsrc-2007Q4. I will just because I suspect that the files out of mk
 | dir are to blame do A diff between the old working tree & the new tree.
 | to find out what the differences are...
 |
 | Anyway I=C2=B4ll contact you again ones I know if waiting a day helped or=
 | not..

With the latest modifcations it seems to build and install correctly.
Now on the issue of the bmake tests ..the problem when doing the tests
with the sunpro compiler on solaris sparc is that the dotwait test does
not function well it goes to sleep and then it just dies.for some reason
unknown to me...I tested each test separately by commenting them all out
but the first one and then gradually uncommenting them.until the failure
~ took place... now I will test it again later on to see if my tests
where correct.... but the problem is there abouts...
