It was a long time ago! If I recall correctly, the work-around suggested 
in pkg/31481 worked for me. Sometime not long after I ceased using 
pkgsrc to build Firefox (I switched to the "contributed build" binary 
packages linked from the release notes on the mozilla.com web site), so 
I'm afraid I'm not in a position to feedback on the current state of the 
package on Solaris.

The PR can be closed as far as I'm concerned.
