It is not a Solaris issue - it will break on any 64-bit platform.
(The issue is that functions returning pointers are called without being
declared, so the values are truncated to 32 bits.)
Patch looks fine to commit, too, at least to me, but as a non-pkgsrc
person I don't want to do it myself.
