        Do 'rm -rf ~/.mozilla/sunbird', fire it up, and check the permissions
        on ~/.mozilla/sunbird/*.default/prefs.js

        To bypass the problem, do
        chmod +w ~/.mozilla/sunbird/*.default/prefs.js
