  2.* needs ncurses with NetBSD. With stock curses, many of the control keys 
do not work or the actions (move to beginning/end of line) do not display 
properly.  Even with the included buildlink refs for ncurses, configure was 
not finding the ncurses libraries under /usr/pkg until I added USE_NCURSES.
