 Actually, it strikes me that rather than being an IRIX pkgsrc problem,
 it's a groff problem in that it assumes that libc has a getopt_long
 function.
 
 Now it might only be IRIX which doesn't (although I'd be surprised) -
 but that doesn't make it any less wrong! ;)
 
 There has just been a new groff release in pkgsrc, but this issue still
 hasn't been addressed.
 
 Please could someone take a look?  The solution above requires only two
 one-line changes to implement, and groff is a package that many others
 depend on.
