 The problem is fixed in XORP CVS for XORP-current (see
 http://www.xorp.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=466 for details).
 
 FYI, hopefully within a month or so we are planning to release
 XORP-1.2 which would contain the NetBSD-3.0 fix.
 Hence I am fine if you don't upgrade net/xorp to match XORP-1.1 but
 wait instead for XORP-1.2.
 Though, please give me some more specific contact address I can use
 for faster updates of net/xorp that I can use for the XORP-1.2
 update (and future XORP releases) rather than waiting for another 9
 months if I go again via the gnats database.
