 And indeed they are. As you've probably noticed, I've mentioned
 pkg/30029 and pkg/30030.
 
 I don't know why -D doesn't reach the build for x11/gtk2, but for
 pkg/30030, the intltool override was causing the problem. Could it be
 something similar here? That one or more of the included buildlinks
 override CPPFLAGS?
