 That file doesn't help me unfortunately. Could you please do the
 following:
 
 cd pkgsrc/www/apache2
 make clean
 make patch
 cd work/httpd-2.0.54 
 mv configure configure.real
 echo >configure "#!/bin/sh"
 echo >>configure "exec /bin/sh -x ${0}.real \"$@\""
 chmod 755 configure
 cd ../..
 make configure >configure.log 2>&1
 
 And provide me a pointer to the "config.log" file afterwards?
