Re: Installing, then installing CDE

As I have encountered before, I somehow failed to install the `pkgin`
command.
The way I do this is, after installing NetBSD:
1. Edit /root/.profile and uncomment the `export PKG_PATH=...' line
2. Logout; login
3. pkg_add pkgin
4. pkgin -y install cde
(sysinst(8) can also install pkgin(1) for you as part of an initial install.)
I found this helpful:

Is there a better guide anywhere?
When you installed CDE a brief message would've flashed, telling you to read
the files in:
/usr/pkg/share/doc/cde/
After adding the things mentioned in README.netbsd, CDE should start and run
*without* a single error. (Just run it as `startcde' at the command prompt.)
