An older version of the ZFS filesystem is available in NetBSD for a
couple of 64bit platforms and works more or less as one would expect.
There will be challenges using ZFS on systems with what may be
considered "low memory".  I do use it all of the time on my build
systems and I work around the quirks.

It would be an advantage to the NetBSD project to have the mainline
OpenZFS instead of what is there currently, if nothing else, at least
for the bug fixes.  The amount of effort to get to that point would not
be trivial, I suspect.  What is there now is functional, but does have
some problems when memory gets tight.
