I can't find any obvious mention in the docs or sources of how much scrollback or buffering it does. Most regular terminal emulators limit the amount of scrollback text they save. Some might have the option to "limit to available memory", like macos Terminal, which can really hose you if it causes paging that then stalls the system! -- Greg A.
