It was likely due to changing values in /etc/mk.conf done unskillfully, leftover intermediate file linkages and various calls to build.sh and make.

I am running on 11 beta and wrote up a trip report under a thread I had intended to be this one.

The atf report summary was,

Summary for 1005 test programs:

    10582 passed test cases.

    20 failed test cases.

    116 expected failed test cases.

    558 skipped test cases.
