Not sure if you are talking about the "radeon" or the "modesetting" drivers for the 5450, but at least with the "modesetting" driver I do also have some sort of memory corruption (which may be the same as what you mention). The first symptom is that in ctwm title bars (I have the narrow version, "SqueezeTitle" setting) the stippled bitmap between the title and the window buttons on the right (it changes between active and inactive windows) corrupts to a black rectangle. Later things like bitmap fonts get corrupted and some tabs in Firefox too. Usually restarting X fixes it, but the most recent case required a reboot. This takes several weeks of uptime before it happens, and I didn't find (or search very hard) for a quick reproducer. And without that this would be hard to debug. But it is certainly a regression from 9.x; it is new in 10.0. -Olaf. -- ___ Olaf 'Rhialto' Seibert <rhialto/at/falu.nl> \X/ There is no AI. There is just someone else's work. --I. Rose
