Thanks for the confirmation!  I opened a ticket on github for this.

I'm making more progress on FreeBSD, with a binary LLVM package as the
hopeful backend, once I got some linker flags corrected for it.

The enormous hulk and stupendous complexity of this thing is astounding,
and I haven't even seen the result yet -- it's still building and
downloading and compiling some more.  I thought Go was getting a bit out
of hand, but it is tiny and elegant and fast and efficient by comparison!
