Did some digging

From CD:
   Horizontal                     30 to 81 kHZ
   Vertical                          56 to 60 Hz

optimum resolution           1600x900 @ 60 Hz
maximum resolution         1600x900 @ 60Hz

DID  xrandr --listactivemonitors

Result      +HDMI-1  1920/510x1080/287+0+0  HDMI-1

Why does GTX-1660 want all of this?

Do this :  xrandr -s 1920x1080 "Mode"   ?

I have prob seeing and reading  ;  switch between 2 sizes ?
