Re: amdgpu kernel module

Hello all,

I have tried to enable the amdgpu module/driver in the kernel configuration. Disabling the radeon driver module. The kernel did not recognize the graphics devices on my laptop.

How can we use the amdgpu kernel driver?

Does the amdgpu kernel driver support these graphics drivers with pci ids 0x1002 0x1309 (Kaveri [Radeon R6/R7 Graphics]) and 0x1002 0x6604 (Opal XT [Radeon R7
M265/M365X/M465])?

In the driver source it lists these devices on the net. But my sources (have version 9.2) does list the 0x1309 device but not the 0x6604 device?

Does anyone know the status if the amdgpu kernel driver?

Kind regards
Riza
