Hi Scott,

The "Dirty COW" is a Linux kernel vulnerability, which is due to an
error in the implementation of copy-on-write. It does not affect
other Unices, including NetBSD and the other BSDs. The exploit is
targeted for the Linux kernel, and does not compile on other Unix
systems [1].
