Why maintain a fork, when GNU can maintain their own tool better?

manual page macros whose output is border line stupid. And you are calling this progress?
IT's stupid, not to favor awk, sed, and perl, and promote their use, over
 MODEM LINE NOISE like *off.


Even Microsoft gives you Wordpad with the OS....

notepad ~= /bin/ed
wordpad ~= /usr/bin/vi :-)
