script to process dmesg output into custom kernel config?

[yancm%SDF.ORG@localhost]

I seem to recall there may have been a script that could process the boot
messages (dmesg output) and produce a decent cut at a customized kernel
config...

I looked in pkgsrc and searched the site, but did not find such a script.

First, did such a script exist? Second, does it still exist? Third, if so
where? :)
