Re: hosts.deny - get China off my server

Hi Jukka,
it was for sure the first idea to protect these pages. I already run
some e-mail-registration and captcha-protection-plugins on this wikis.

Though it protects from the bots to leave some spam in the wiki, I have
hundreds of unactivated user registrations there. And every day I have
to clean them out - I am tired of this. Practically all ips refer to
China. Also none of the wikis (vintage motorbikes) seen to be of
interest to this geographical region. At least what I can tell by
reading the forums and mailing lists.

The big Wikipedia has couple of people to deal with such junk-articles
and wiki-spam. Also they need manual work to keep the wiki clean - its
the nature of the concept. I just have my one-man show running on my
server, simply not the ressources to care for everything.

I rather keep out the bot-nets, not the people.
