Hmm.  I believe that NetBSD comes with a pppd, and perhaps it doesn't handle 
multilink PPP, but there is still:

  http://ftp.netbsd.org/pub/pkgsrc/current/pkgsrc/net/pppd/README.html

Or is netgraph(4) available for NetBSD?  If so, mpd 
(http://mpd.sourceforge.net/) would also be worth looking into....
