No network device found
Hello list!
I recently (read: yesterday) installed NetBSD5.1 (amd64) on my laptop.
During install I tried to get the data via http or ftp, but that didn't
work. I couldn't configure a network device either. But I didn't mind,
because I thought I would just deal with it later. So, here I am.
NetBSD boots up properly. But there is no network device, except lo0.
That's the only thing "ifconfig -a" gives me.
"dmesg | grep ethernet" says the following:
vendor 0x1039 product 0x0191 (ethernet network, revision 0x02) at pci0 dev
4 function 0 not configured.
"dmesg | grep wlan" gives me:
ugen0 at uhub2 port 2
ugen0: vendor 0x0bda RTL8187B_WLAN_Adapter, rev 2.00/2.00, addr 2
I'd rather post all my dmesg here, but I don't know how I should transfer
it from this laptop without being online ;)
Thanks in advance,
