Connected USB Cdrom - Error Data Overrun

Hello Together

I want to try, only for scheduled BackupJob over night to Burn periodical
Backup. i know this burning-Job ... if it's run can take meny hours, but this
are equal. Unfortunatly Netra X1 have only USB 1.1 possibilties :-( are this
also any unpossible or also "absurd questions?"

Following messages from NetBSD 5.1 with connected USB Cdrom appair
">Error: Data Overrun"

-following found from googl:
"A state in which the sending computer is transmitting characters faster than
the receiving computer can accommodate them. If this problem persists, reduce
the bits-per-second (bps) rate."

but it's possible for this don't exist any workaround or it's here the Cdrom to
fast for this typ of machine?
