Yes, I have _considered_ it.  But only considered!

I tried KDE4 and did not like what I saw and returned to KDE3, even if
it looked like a blind alley.

And then there are problems with KDE3 in 5.1_2010Q4 and X1R{6,7}.
To build I use the full set of empty directories (i.e. no files) of X11R6,
In order to run, however,  KDE3 can only live with:
    mv /usr/X11R6   /usr/hidden.X11R6
    ln -s /usr/X11R7   /usr/X11R6
because it looks for some X11R7 libraries in /usr/X11R6.

I have not found the place yet.  I still need a reasonable overview of
the package.  Thus I am only playing with thoughts
of transferring the trinity package to NetBSD.
