Yes I did increase that substantially. it helped, but eventually the
system still froze. I am curious to know if the PF implementation of
altq in NetBSD does not have this problem that altqd had for me.

May I just add that I have just finished installing my first NetBSD domU
and I am thrilled with Xen! Excellent work, to you and everyone else
involved! I will be asking a few questions later if you don't mind.

(I tried altq with the dom0 kernel as well by the way - still no joy.)
