regression with ahc and netbsd-4 branch or something else?

Hi,

I've got a oldish Tyan Thunder dual athlon mp server with a pair of sca
drives on an ahc in a raid 1. Recently one of the drives started throwing
errors, smartctl says:

SMART Health Status: SERVO IMPENDING FAILURE SEEK ERROR RATE TOO HIGH
[asc=5d, ascq=43]

and raid failed the component, as it should do.

Now this machine has only usb 1, so I grabed a spare pci -> cardbus
adapter i had and a cardbus -> usb 2 card and went to the datacenter to
backup the raid array to a usb drive in case the other disk failed.

The kernel the machine was running didn't have cardbus compiled into it,
so i grabbed the netbsd-4 snapshot source from /pub/NetBSD-daily/netbsd-4/
(unfortunatly the exact directory has gone, but the source sets are dated
the 11th). I built a kernel as usual with cbb and friends enabled and
got a timeout from ahc and a dump of the card state - see attached dmesg.

I've also tried with PCI_BUS_FIXUP, (but not yet with PCI_INTR_FIXUP, the
irq 255 on the cbb is a bit odd looking).

Is this something thats unexpected, or is the combo of cardbus + mp not
working on netbsd-4?

I'll be backthere tommorow afternoon if anyone has any ideas.
