Re: Relative performance AMD vs Intel



No idea about performance, but it does run cooler and quieter (the fan
doesn't need to run as fast) than my previous dual core AMD which is
slower. This is nice. Not apples to apples, but a 4 core CPU that's
much faster also running cooler is progress.

I can't really run NetBSD on it because I haven't figured out how to
make NetBSD's X play nice with the Nvidia based video card. Switched
to OpenBSD, and it works without a hitch.
