What does -query do?

Also, that record comes up as NXDOMAIN here, so maybe that's
an accurate message.

I've not had trouble with i.e. $DISPLAY and xhost, and whatnot
over IPv6, but I've not run stock XFree86 in many months.
ISTR it worked way back in like 2.0 though.
