 Please, can you provide the specific example?  You obviously have one
 that you have observed and is now reporting.  But as you don't provide
 the example itself, every reader has to re-do the investigation you
 already did.
 
 Also, you don't say which version of NetBSD you are reporting this for.
 Current already has:
 
   revision 1.8
   date: 2024-04-17 02:30:19 +0300;  author: christos;  state: Exp;  lines: +3 -3;  commitid: 2c7j1Tx6qooqqq6F;
   branches:  1.8.2;
   Be more explicit with sort fields to produce consistent results with gnu
   sort (Jan-Benedict Glaw)
 
 that 10-stable doesn't have.
