Actually, I don't have netbsd installed in this machine, so I cannot test blind login right now. I am afraid that I have to get through the installer and that seems impossible with a broken console... :(
As a workaround, I guess that I could temporary disable nouveau from the bootloader, install netbsd and then (after a reboot) try the blind login as you suggested. But all this, sounds too much hassle todo, just to test, LOL. 8)

TBH, I have not used netbsd for a couple of years, but I would like to make a comeback with the release of 10.0 (whenever that would be), as long as I have a full working system for daily use (with graphics hardware acceleration).
