audio output hangs, hiccups, stutters, reverbs on X250 but ONLY while using the touchpad (NetBSD 9.1 + 9.2)

Hello,

In a previous message I noted some issues with my touchpad on a X250 and T550.

I do not know for sure if this is related, but I noticed that audio output will briefly hang, have "hiccups", stutter or "reverb" for a second or two while using the touchpad to navigate, e.g. to open the XFCE menu, open a new Firefox tab, etc.

In most cases, audio would just resume but there would be "static" on the output for minutes on end until I stopped playback and resumed.

Mixerctl output settings were fine. I also used aiomixer to adjust the output levels.

I have experienced this both when playing music on the console (with no X11 running) and while using X11, for instance with VLC, music or video streams playing in Firefox, etc. I used either the laptop speakers or headphones for output.

I want to add that I did not have this problem when using only the mouse. it's only when I start navigating with my touchpad that audio hangs and ends up suffering from "static noise".

I am attaching the pms errors again, as well as my dmesg output. Please do not hesitate to let me know what else you may need to debug this.

Thank you.
