 This is what I wanted to see:
 >  radeonfb0: display 0: initial virtual resolution 1280x854 at 8 bpp
 >  radeonfb0: using 32 MB per display
 >  radeonfb0: port 0: physical 1280x854 60Hz
 >  radeonfb0: port 1: physical 1280x854 60Hz
 >  stride: 1280
 ... and it looks right, no idea why software drawing screws up.
 The reason RADEONFB_ALWAYS_ACCEL_PUTCHAR exists is that on at least
 some r3xx the hardware accelerated method for drawing bitmap fonts
 didn't work, something I've never been able to reproduce ( but I have
 only one r3xx, in an old, partially disassembled i386 ).
 That was ages ago, maybe that option needs to be the default on macppc
 or can go away altogether.
