Great - glad it is solved.
I have requested that the opendisk() fix get "pulled-up" to NetBSD-7.0.3
(no release scheduled, we just came out with 7.0.2 a few months ago). I
have also requested pull-up for NetBSD-7.1, but since it is already at
the RC1 stage I cannot promise that the request will be accepted; if
not, it would make NetBSD-7.1.1 (if/when released).
I'll close the PR once the pull-ups are completed, and I'll update you
on the final release plan.
