Hi,

I'm observing odd behaviour when booting 6.1.3/i386 (GENERIC) on an ALIX 2d13 
(http://pcengines.ch/alix2d13.htm)
The board has no VGA output so the bootloader is configured to use the serial 
console.
Furthermore, since there is neither SMP nor ACPI, the bootloader is configured 
to boot -12 by default.

On a normal, unattended boot, i get the following warnings, right before the 
Copyright message (full boot log below):

which I don't understand.


The odd thing now is, the warnings disappear by merely dropping into the 
bootloader prompt, and typing ``boot -12'', i.e. just what it would normally do 
after the timeout expires; that leaves me completely puzzled.
Any input on how to further debug this is appreciated.

BTW, GNATS problem report #47111, although being unrelated from the 'actual' 
issue discussed, is observing the same symnptoms (although apparently without 
realizing it).

PS: For reference, two complete boot logs.  First is completely unattended, 
second boots the same, with the same kernel flags, just manually from the boot 
prompt instead of automatically:
