 No.
 GENERIC amd64 kernel (201301211830Z) boots quickly.
 (Confirmed on Athlon 4850e pc)
 But I noticed "vmstat -i" reports unknown interrupts not shown
 in dmesg.
 The userland binaries and libraries for amd64 partition are built
 on Jan 16 2013. I am not sure vmstat lies.
