There is no indication that CPU frequency scaling works, neither a sysctl 
control is found (eg powernow, est), nor the estd daemon detects the technology 
("estd: Cannot guess CPU-scaling technology. (maybe you are missing some 
kernel-option?)").
This is a -current build, though scaling does not work booting the 5.1 stable 
kernel as well.

- Built the -current GENERIC kernel - no modification to the configuration file.
- The source I used: 
ftp://ftp.fr.netbsd.org/pub/NetBSD/NetBSD-current/tar_files/src.tar.gz. It was 
downloaded and built on 2011.01.28.
- Booted this kernel on my ASUS K50AB laptop.
