>Environment:

System: NetBSD 5.99.27 i386 as of Apr 13 2010
Architecture: i386
Machine: i386
>Description:
A recently built CD boot image when booted on this MSI
motherboard with a P4 CPU exhibits the following symptoms:

        1) The kernel fails to find the booted-from device, and
therefore the root file system automatically

        2) The keyboard input (PS/2 interface) appears to be dead,
i.e. attempts at interacting with init to tell it the root
file system appears to be non-functional, even typing
"md0a" blind (nothing is echoed) gives no result. The
keyboard *is* however able to break into DDB.

>How-To-Repeat:
Try to boot an i386 kernel from a CD image, watch it fail as
        above.

>Fix:
        Sorry, don't know.
