>Description:
When I telnet into a NetBSD machine running a -current kernel on a
netbsd-5 userland, echo will not be turned off during password entry.
Lineediting in bash will not work after logging in. I have to drop
to the telnet prompt and issue a "mode char" to get things working.
Booting the same userland with a netbsd-5 kernel makes the problem
        go away as well.
Same thing happens on a -current userland with a -current kernel.
>How-To-Repeat:
telnet into a netbsd box running a -current kernel.
>Fix:
        ^]mode char... :-(
