these are CS5536 UDC (USB device controller) and UOC (USB options
controller). there are AMD-provided drivers/patches for Linux:

this is the ALI M5283 SATA controller. SATA obviously doesn't work on
the board without a driver.

PCI-ISA bridge. BIOS handles this: I'm not sure what additional
functionality OS support could offer. (besides working around broken
BIOS that don't correctly configure this part... I've seen them, though
not on this board.)
the current situation is much improved from three years ago, and this
board is in a much more usable state with NetBSD now. should I create
additional PRs for the individual drivers (UDC/UOC and SATA) and have
you close this PR?
