        A running pkgsrc/sysutils/hal panics -current kernels when
        (un)plugging any kind of device/media (usb, cd media et al.)

        Stopping 'hal' makes these panics disappear.
>How-To-Repeat:
        Run pkgsrc/sysutils/hal / '/etc/rc.d/hal start', e. g. plug in
        an usb device and see the system panic.

        Workaround;

        Don't run hal :-/
