 These changes in key_receive should fix it:
 
 - Replace splsoftnet with:
 
        mutex_enter(softnet_lock);
        KERNEL_LOCK(1, NULL);
 
 - Replace splx with:
 
        KERNEL_UNLOCK_ONE(NULL);
        mutex_exit(softnet_lock);
