>Originator: Tyler Retzlaff
>Release: NetBSD 5.99.7
>Organization:
phoenix foundation
>Environment:
NetBSD 5.99.7
Architecture: amd64
Machine: amd64
>Description:
immediately after selecting the installation option from the boot-only
install cd a message about not being able to load the cd9660.kmod speeds
by.
specifically:
----8<----
booting cd0a:netbsd (howto 0x20000000)
9970264+5606752+708096=0x1089060
WARNING: couldn't open //cd9660/cd9660.kmod
WARNING: couldn't open cd9660
---->8----
the message may be harmless because I can continue the installation but it
does seem to be a bit misleading.
i've filed this under install instead of kern because I only see it when
booting with the sysinst boot-only iso. but perhaps it does belong in
the kern category.
>How-To-Repeat:
run sysinst choose any option look for the WARNING fly by as the kernel
boots.
>Fix:
Unknown
