The machfb is broken in the macppc port.You have to disable it before you can 
boot into NetBSD.You will get a garbled up screen if you don't. This has only 
been tested on an Apple Imac G3 333mhz version.
>How-To-Repeat:
Try to boot netbsd without disabling machfb.
>Fix:
Boot into open firmware and add the -c to the boot command like this:
boot cd:,ofwboot.xcf hd:3,/netbsd -c
type disable machfb
then type quit. Then the system should boot up, but with no framebuffer.
