>Description:
This is similar to kern/38469. The recent GENERIC kernel does not boot but
GENERIC.NOACPI does. The mainboard is ECS PM800-M2 with VIA chipset.

The kernel of 4.99.34 in October 2007 can boot.
I put the trace at http://d4407.kankyo-u.ac.jp/~nakaji/NetBSD/maki/acpitrace.txt
I also put dmesg.boot, kernel configuration, and acpidump's outputs at the same
directory.
http://d4407.kankyo-u.ac.jp/~nakaji/NetBSD/maki/
o MAKI : unbootable kernel configuration
o dmesg.boot.12e : dmesg.boot of 4.99.34
o dmesg.boot.12e-noacpi : dmesg.boot of 4.99.61 without ACPI
o pm800-m2-12e.* : acpidump's output on 4.99.34
>How-To-Repeat:
I do not have another NetBSD/i386 using VIA chip and I cannot reproduce the
problem on another PC.
>Fix:
N/A
